| 1. Tournament Methods : |
1) 8-round Swiss system. 2) All games to be played on even, with Black giving a 6½-point komi. 3) Time allowance is 60 minutes per player, followed by byo-yomi of 30 seconds x 3 times. *Tournament clocks will be used for all games 4) The competition will be conducted in accordance with The World Amateur Go Championship Rules. *Any problems that arise will be settled by the referees. 5) The referees will be professional go players from the Korea Baduk Association |

| 2. Awards : |
1) The winner will be given the title of ‘46th World Amateur Go Champion’ and will receive an amateur 7-dan diploma from the Korea Baduk Association. 2) All of the 1st to 8th place players will receive prizes with cups 3) Special Awards will be presented to two additional players not placed in the top 8. 4) All participants will receive a participation medal and a certificate of participation. |
